Jesus Rises From the Dead
April 12, 2020
Today is Easter Sunday! Jesus has risen from the dead!
After Jesus died, his body was placed in a cave and a big rock was rolled in front of it. Early on Sunday morning, Mary and some friends went to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away and that Jesus was alive!
Today we say with joy, "Alleluia! Christ is risen! Christ is risen, indeed! Alleluia!"

Song – “Praise Ye the Lord, Hallelujah!"
- Why do you think they put a stone in front of the tomb?
- Why did the angel say to Mary, “Do not be afraid!”?
- How do you think the women felt when they saw Jesus? How would you feel?
- Why did Mary run to Jesus’ other disciples?

Step 2Unroll crescent roll dough, and separate each roll along perforations.
Step 3Roll marshmallows in melted butter, and then in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place one coated marshmallow in the middle of an unrolled crescent dough segment, and roll the marshmallow until completely covered by the dough, pushing in sides as you go. Pinch seams on either end to seal each roll.
Step 4Place rolls on a jellyroll pan, and bake at 350˚ for about 12 minutes.
Step 5Immediately after removing rolls from the oven, brush with remaining melted butter and then sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve warm.
